When did you start Crossfit?
I had been on and off with Crossfit since the fall of 2012 but have been truly committed since Jan 2015
What's your favorite part about CrossFit?
I love that Crossfit provides the physical expression of my God inspired spirit of excellence and offers me the opportunity to encourage others in their spirit of excellence
Favorite workout and/or movement/exercise/lift?
FRAN – just kidding
Old favorite - Rope climbs. I mean really, who doesn’t love to climb a rope?
New favorite – OH Squats (thanks Sam!)
How has CrossFit helped/affected your life outside the gym?
Two words: confidence and empowerment. (and I don’t look too shabby in a bikini)
What is your proudest CF related accomplishment?
Working so hard that I bleed and making muscles hurt that I didn’t even know existed!
What are your future CF related goals?
To bleed more and find undiscovered muscles to make sore
If you were to say something to someone new joining what advise would you give?
You do not have to be great to start but you have to start to be great.
And for those ladies who are thinking about joining, Crossfit will not make you big, eating cupcakes will make you big!
Freestyle section: anything else you want to add?
No one said it would be easy but I can tell you it is worth it.
A special shout out to Ness and Sam, two of the most amazing women I have had the honor of knowing.
