Kendra Kennedy

Kendra grew up playing a variety of sports before focusing on track, cross-country, and basketball in high school.  She played one year of college basketball before turning her attention entirely to academics. Her interest in the human movement led to a bachelor's degree in kinesiology followed by a doctorate in physical therapy. In 2013, her husband nagged her into trying CrossFit, and soon he became accustomed to hearing her call “time” before him on most WODs.  She earned her CrossFit Level 1 certification in May of 2014 and is excited to put it to good use at CrossFit Anacortes. When she’s not working out or coaching, she can be found at San Juan Rehab, where she is one of the physical therapists, or out enjoying the Pacific Northwest with her husband, three daughters, and two dogs.
