Anton Foss
Born and raised in Burlington, Washington. I’ve been active in sports most my life through high school. I played football for 8 years, and wrestled for 4 years. I started CrossFit looking for a change from the general weightlifting in January 2014. I absolutely fell in love with CrossFit and started competing just a few months in. I enjoy the competition side of CrossFit, but more importantly, I love the comradery and community of the people within the gym.
My schooling started my junior year of high school where I jumped into running start which allowed me to get my associates degree by the time I graduated high school. I then took it a step further by after graduating high school going to BYU-Idaho where I graduated in July of 2016 with my bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology where I was able to learn about all the muscles, joints, biomechanics and kinesiology that has to do with the human body. I find the human body to be extremely fascinating, and I do everything I can to optimize its performance.
Not all of my passions are within the gym. I love taking my training outside the gym and enjoy trail running, hiking, backpacking, swimming, inner tubing, knee boarding, mountain biking (although I seem to be a magnet to every single tree), and just about anything else!
Fun fact: I love thrusters! Not many people can tell you that!
